Russell Stover Tier I Hockey Program
The mission of the Russell Stover Tier I hockey program is two-fold. One, to develop the player both on and off the ice into a mature adult with a well rounded academic background that is capable of playing hockey at the next level. Two, provide the necessary exposure for the player to showcase his talents to junior and college hockey scouts.

To satisfy those ends, Russell Stover hockey calls Pepsi Ice Midwest in Overland Park Kansas its home. The Ice Midwest facility is a modern, two NHL sheet facility with all the usual amenities of a state of the art rink. Additionally, Russell Stover hockey players enjoy dedicated locker rooms, weight room, and corporate sponsorship from Russell Stover Candies, Inc.
Parents with players playing for Russell Stover hockey will find the Blue Valley and Olathe school districts to be among the finest school districts in the nation. Also, the Johnson County area, where nearly ever player will be billeted, is among the nicest and most affluent counties in the United States.

Russell Stover hockey participates in some of the most competitive and scouted tournaments in the nation. This past season for example, Russell Stover competed in Marquette Fall Classic, Autumn Chill Tournament, Team Illinois Thanksgiving Invitational, University of North Dakota Engelstad Classic, Russell Stover Classic, Colorado College Showcase, Dallas Cup and Gold Medal Classic as well as USA Hockey's Central District and National Tournaments. This competition and exposure was highlighted by Russell Stover capturing the Central Districts title as well as a 3rd place finish in the Tier I 18U National Tournament.

Russell Stover hockey traditionally visits the campuses of Colorado College, North Dakota and starting this season has added the University of New Hampshire. These campus visits include touring their hockey team's facilities as well as meeting players, coaches and administrators from those schools.

The central location of Kansas City in the Midwest serves to open the entire nation to scheduling possibilities for the team as well as making it easy to attend one of the several home dates the team hosts.

This two-fold approach to player development and exposure, combined with the exceptional coaching staff truly makes Russell Stover hockey an exceptional midget hockey choice.
